Refinery Prisons

The first painting here was a concept of the Refinery's semi interior spaces before receiving the level design. One of the many challenges in designing the refinery was the integration of an imperial Wookiee prison. One goal was to show the treatment of Wookiees as work animals by the Empire. The layout was intended to give the sense of Wookiees as lesser and below the troops above.
