Origin Tree Vista

It took several explorations to decide what the Origin Tree and its surroundings should be to ensure that it remained familiar, but new. The fundamental goal was to create an iconic Star Wars landmark while accommodating the Shadowlands at its base. The dominant presence of the roots helped solve these issues and also expand the narrative connection the tree has to the rest of Kashyyyk. In the aerial painting we were able to imagine the sequence of moments from the Lake, to the Landing Pad, through the Trenches, to the Refinery and beyond.
