Ilum: Ice Caves

To incorporate the reveal that this is actual the future Starkiller Base we added a twist with deep thermal vents. Volcanic forces seen on this planet occasionally create enough heat to form massive cave icicle and strange pockmarked surfaces during sudden freezing. In these concepts I explored the dramatic fracturing of the deep glacial ice within the caves.
