Imperial Root Trench

The Empire has no regard for the living roots of Kashyyyk. In this painting I wanted to show this collision of linear Imperial thinking with the organic nature of the deep roots of the planet. Part of the goal was to show the empire building some of these interventions and constantly dealing with the instability they create.
