Koboh Dust

These concepts explored the way High Republic array mechanisms ionize and control the Koboh Dust. In clumped form they are a bundle of potential energy allowing Cal to power devices while also clearing paths when reversing the polarity of the device. The duality of this force echos the narrative arcs of the characters, while explaining many of the gameplay mechanics around Koboh. The oxidized look of the dust was originally reflecting the higher iron content. And the florescent sparks of light behaved as sprites that ignite in densely ionized columns.
