Brendok Early Sketches

These are some of my early explorations of Brendok fortress in the Acolyte. The themes of woven thatch and a headdress-like roofline were mixed with the clean lines of Star Wars to evoke the craft and traditions of the inhabitants. The thatch and woven language utilize the wood and local grasses of the lakeside ecosystem.
