Canyon Dams

The Canyon structures were inspired by early frontier mining towns and industrial structures in the American West. The rusted material and raw geometries helped convey practical functions while also maintaining an iconic Star Wars aesthetic. Through these paintings and subsequent sketches we developed a strong underlying story of prospecting and tar abatement. These structures also incorporated many interactive gameplay elements which helped bring the prospecting narrative to life.
